About Me
- Name: Elizabeth Bechtel Jayanti
- Location: Eden Prairie, Minnesota, United States
I am a graduate student in Work and Human Resource Education at the University of Minnesota. My research interests involve nonlinear complex systems and morality in business. I have been involved with REACH India and the Information Technology Institute for the Tribes of India school near Dehra Dun. Previously, I was a PhD student at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI where I taught adolescent literacy and performed research in teacher education. There, I was a member of Taleem, a non-profit group at MSU working with a school in Bhubaneshwar, Orissa, India to provide education for the underprivileged. Earlier, I worked as a teacher in Indianapolis, IN. I completed my undergraduate education in Religion and English from St. Olaf College, MN, (Magna cum Laude). I was inducted into Theta Alpha Kappa (Religion Honor Society) in 2003. In my free time, I enjoy creative writing. My work has been published in St. Olaf’s literary magazine and featured in the Walker Art Center’s exhibit “Hot Art Injection” in 2001.
